Is it a Zaskar?

This box arrived today:

So I rushed home to unpack it:

And I found it contained this:

No, it's not a Zaskar, it's a Pantera.

I was looking at a 16" Zaskar frame that LikeClockwork was selling recently, until I worked out it was a tiny bit too big for my younger daughter. Then I saw a 14.5" frame on eBay. Better condition and size, but far too much money. (Translation: more than I wanted to pay.)
I posted a question in mtb chat asking for frame measurements and what I should be paying and Bullpup happened to mention that he had a Psntera in the same size that his son had outgrown.

A few pms later and we struck a deal for his sons Pantera, complete except for wheels with rigid forks and STX group set.

I'm not completely decided on the direction I'm going to go with this frame (though I have a couple of ideas.)

First step is to polish the frame with some Autosol.

Re:

Lovely, and far better condition than that battered old thing of mine! I love the look of these proper small GTs.

By the way, Peek for the frame, better than Autosol as it doesn't leave black residue in the welds

Nice polishing job, what kind of products did you used ?
Fsx arch on the judy ? Do you have the cantis cable stop on it ?

Cheers

Christophe

Re:

Autosol and extra fine steel wool then soft cloth.

Yes to the canti stop, I'll post a better picture tomorrow.
