Is a 650 clincher wheel the same size as a 26" mtb whe

I just wanted to know the answer to this if poss. :?
Can a standard mtb tyre be fitted to a 650 clincher wheel?

No. But it depends on what you're trying to do. A 26" MTB tire will NOT fit on a 650c rim and vice versa. But, if you get a 650c wheel and tire with the right axle length into an mtb frame, you could adjust cantis or vees to fit the rim.
