iPhone handlebar mount?

I'm after a decent, sturdy mount to sit My phone on so I can use some of the gps aps I have..... Has anyone got an experience of good ones?
I've had a trawl through gaybay and the only ones I have seen look a bit flimsy to be honest...... I wouldn't trust them to hold my baby!!!

Those 2 I've seen and dismissed!!

There is one for 15 quid or so that looks to have a box type thing that you put the phone in, but the photos of it are poo.......that looks about the only hting I would trust on there....This....

I've been looking for a while, for the same thing, and I just can't seem to find the magic 'right' thing :cry: :cry:

But I think I'm being too fussy, worrying about the iphone getting damaged by all the vibration from the front end, down the tracks... :roll: :roll: :roll:

I use my Sony Xperia to datalog tracks and keep it in my Camelbak out of harms way. Have a jey little pouch to keep it in.

I keep mine in an Oakley cloth bag that comes with said sunnies, fits the iphone like a glove, and then hidden away in the bag on my back.

I'd still like to have it on the handlebars/stem especially from a map reading/GPS perspecive... :roll:

I have a couple of excellent aps ( free ones) but can't use them..... I don't want it knocked off doing 30 down a big trail......

I thought it needed a line of sight to the satelites??
