Instructions for Pace rc36 evo III

Re:

So are there any good vids that anyone knows of that takes me through what to set up and adjust and in what order.

Seen a few but just cover sag and rebound damping as guess that’s how air ones work but not finding ones with spring pretension and compression damping. So any links to a good vid to get a starter setup.

If they are obv too soft and bottom out i’ll Investigate the springs and see if can find harder ones.

Re:

Think I have it.... so sag at 20% if possible.

As I am heavy probs want preload on spring set towards higher end then adjust air pressure to try and get to ideal sag.

Next set rebound so it’s quick but won’t throw bike off ground.

Lastly tweak compression damping if it’s all too bouncy over bumps and bad surfaces???

Besides I am very unfit and need to loose loads of weight so unlikely to be hammering suspension in early days so can sort springs if they aren’t strong ones as I get a feel for how it’s performing.

Re:

For info: Factory settings are [were]:

40psi air pressure
Rebound adjuster 2 full turns out from bottomed.
Comp adjuster 2 turns out from bottomed.
Preload screw level with housing top.

Re:

Nice one, will start there and adjust and see how it goes. Assume rather than ramp air up I’d be better turning pre tension and small air increase at same time and see if can get to reasonable sag of 20mm
