Information advice on a Raleigh Record Sprint I’ve just purchased

Hi there does anyone have any advice or information on the Raleigh Record Sprint I’ve just purchased
Mainly Frame numbers?
Year?
History?
I’ll post some more detailed pictures when I’ve collected the bike
Any advice would be appreciated

Good to see it still has the gold bits. Think the aero 501 came out in 84 ish.

Had one in 86 ish as a trackie. Snapped the chain stay off! Nice solid bikes....provided you don't jump them on golf courses!

Put the front wheel in before you test ride it!

Agree this is an 84-86 model (I have one). Non-original tyres, pedals and saddle from what I can see. If you can post more images including close ups of the drivetrain it would help.

appears we are in the early eighties here

headset looks to be Tange MA 60

there will be a clockface type date marking on the backside of the Weinmann 605 caliper arms



the Sugino crank arms will have a date marking on their backsides

dropouts appear they may be Cyclo
