was looking at this as trial for first road bike been cycling for years anyone got any opinions on bike thanks

looks pretty basic but once cleaned up and serviced probably quite functional, it's an entry level model with mixed gearing, meaning mostly road gear and the odd mtb part, the brakes never worked great on those though, a combination of not a lot of power in the calipers but also non machined rim surface.

don't bid too high either coz i'd expect to have to buy new tyres, tubes and probably various cables etc.
