info for proflex owners

Hmmm still digging , Sounds like they made the Chubby without any thought to mounting discs which resulted in useless disc tabs and legs that are two fat to mount a normal hub with a rotor!!

I think Shovelon knows a bit about Chubbies. I know nothing, as one faux-Spaniard once said. :D

Yes.......I think Shovelon does have a Chubby. :P

So basically the two mounts actually on the fork are like Gary Glitter's passport.............

Its the legs that make me chuckle... you would of thought they someone would of checked as to if a standard disc hub with rotor would not rub on them

Elastomers and stuff

I expect you lot know about this site/company already but thought i'd put it up any way.

Not sure if its 1 or 2 'd's but you'll find it.Good source of elastomers and general proflex info in my (limited) experience.

Its official, Who ever designed the Girvin Chubby is a womble!!

yeah - we did those 7 years ago. however, there is a problem. Girvin messed up the design of the chubbie forks and a standard international standard disk bub will not clear the Chubbie stanchions.

so to use the chubbie IS adapter you have to make your own hubs. This is very hard - we did 2 sets - I rode on in the 2007 Singlespeed world cup race. If you really want a chubbie adapter let me know and I'll find one.
