Independent Fabrication Ti Deluxe

Lovely frame there... I have one identical and have already wasted a set of decals trying to replace them. Got another set arriving from
IF. Can you shed any light on a good technique or tools for applying the decals? The 3 layers of front and backing confused the hell out of me. D

Ha ha...the decals do take some patience.
I always warm the frame first with a hairdryer. Not sure if it helps but I feel better for it.
I use frog tape to space and measure.
Remove the outer white translucent paper.
Then the green hard backing away from the decal.
Carefully apply then burnish on. These decals needs heat! Lots of heat. Rub and rub and rub. When they are ready the plastic top layer will release, or gently fold over, rubbing as you go.
It isn't easy for sure.
