The main thing is your recovery, but I hope you can get someone to go get a picture or two of that hole and take this further once you are well enough.

S**t that sounds painfull :shock:
bashed my head a couple of times prety bad
coming of the bike (had a helmet on both times)
take it easy mate ..and dont rush in to anything till
you feel realy up to it !!

I smashed the sump on an Alfa 145 Cloverleaf in a similar manner. Rang the council to complain about it to be given a load of guff about it having hazard signs and lights etc (there were, obviously, none) so went back to take photos, and guess what - fresh signs and lights.

This was a cycling incident, and nothing to do with Piperdave's Human Cannonball work.

Apache, one of my friends got £7500 after getting thrown off recently, has to be worth a punt? £7500 buys a lot of helmets, and a shiny few bikes!

What is important is a full recovery. It is great to hear when someone is on the mend.
