in hospital...UPDATE

I've landed myself in hospital from a bike far too many times one of which was really quite scary, but no where near as scary as your visit sounds. Best wishes to you for a speedy recovery.

i go in so often they were going to name a ward after me.

No chance of them naming a ward after me, but all the nurses know me.

Cerebral bleeding sounds scary. Hope you're getting good care and all looks well.

If we all chipped in a bit we could send Al to chear you up.He would tell you car stories and all your head problems would vanish in a cloudy old man woffle sort of way.Get well soon.

hi all,

i am now back home. Thanks for all your kind wishes.

I have a small bleed at the front left of my brain. It gives me headaches, and dizzynes, and some slight sight probs. i must wait for the swelling to receed, aprox two weeks, and see how things are. i don't expect to return to driving and work before that time.

This was caused by an unlit pothole on friday night returning home from a dinner party. Guess i'm going to buy a helmit now.....

Lucky man, hope you get better soon. Are you sure it was the pothole and not the dinner party that caused it :)

Christ Dave!

give us a bell when you're up to it, and Heidi & I might pop over with some chocolates ;)
