do anyone know any simple image editing programs that'll allow me to see both the DPI for the image, and also it's real measurement. image must be at least 10cm wide at 300 DPI


Image editing isnt something i d alot of
 
Lazy answer: Gimp. Don't specifically know if it does that... but I'm sure it will. Or IrfanView?

300dpi = 118dpcm, so you'll need 1180 pixels. Or, more roughly and readily, 10cm is about 4in, so 1200 pixels. If you click once on the file in Windows it'll probably tell you its pixel dimension. Or have a look in the Folder View settings, it's in there somewhere.

(Faststone Image Viewer is good for quick'n'dirty resizing/cropping/colour fiddling).
 
cheers for that used some of them in the past head was a blank of what i could try wasnt for myself for a mate ho has decided sod it lol for work he getting published and agreed when i said aint that the editors role to get things edited for you :lol:
