... my steel Kona frame with rattle cans. The reason for this is purely for the ease of touching in any scratches and scuffs for an exact match. Will probably be either a very dark grey or black, but with loud decals.

Agreed, rattle cans not a cheap option, and very stressful.

Don't do rattle. From experience they don't last long. Get a pro to do a proper job. Will last for years

I did a frame with hammerite black a few weeks ago . It has the clear in the same can which is good as I always manage to cock up the clear at the end .

Stripped the paint off the frame in the morning and was riding it at the end of the day .
