i'm having a good day!!

i got up about 9am, a little lie in coz i'm doing nightshifts tonight and tomorrow, but i had some errands to run.

decided that i hadn't been out on the motorbike for a while so as it is sunny for the first time in ages that was the best mode of transport. smile factor 10000!! love that thing! that was bonus number one!

number 2 bonus was paying off my credit card, nothing left on that!

number 3 bonus was nipping in to GA cycles and finding a pair of forks i got off ebay had turned up there, to my surprise!! i thought they hadn't been posted!!

number 4 bonus is then getting home after riding the motorbike again was to find another box waiting for me with some finishing touches for the E3, so i should beable to finish it for the IOW ride!!

bonus number 5 was getting a phone call from Bob Jackson, regarding a frame being painted that should be back with me next week!! another project begins!!!

the only bummer is i have to go to work at 6pm for the nightshift but that isn't too bad coz nightshifts mean no management and i can listen to the ipod as much as i want and have as many tea breaks as i want as long as the work gets done!


off into the garage now to fit some bits!!


so who else has had or is having a good day?

finished the E3, update just about to go in!!

opened up a box to find some NOS ORANGE/FIR rims recently blagged from the legend Gary at GA cycles! bit scratched in places but mechanically fine.

the pace forks got fitted to the evo 8, i had some white bros forks on it (from harry burgundy) but in my rush to get them i didn't know they were the wrong size for the frame, they are 440mm but i needed 420mm, this has now been corrected with these rc31 forks.

Not a bad day here too, a mate of mine decided to give me his 1992 Kikauea completely gratis!!! Merry Xmas!!!

I've had a fab day too!!

The weather's been glorious, cold but dry and bright, so I've been able to work for a whole day ... it's been a long time since that's happened!

My printer packed up a few days ago, but HP support emailed me, I did the gadgety geeky things that they suggested and put in new cartridges as well ... and now my printer's back working again!

And ... I bought a new golf club a couple of weeks ago and was doing "ok" with it ... but Ladies' Golf Lesson tonight ... I lost 8 balls!! All of them over the back fence! (That's over 200yds by the way! ) How cool is that!?

(For anyone who is even vaguely interested my new driver is called Big Bertha (that's the proper name for the club by the way, not just my name for her) ... and she's FAB!!!)

So, all in all, definitely a good day!!
