I'm going to work on the tube because.......

I'm amazed the tube hasn't been automated, slower trains but more of them controlled by one big computer. Put a few supervisors to overlook the machine and make sure it doesn't malfunction, jobs a good 'un.

You'd get your money back in no time considering each train is costing 40k a year in driver costs.

Erm possibly came from the recent stories where the RMT with fat git council house dwelling £100k+ per annum Bob Crow is turning down an already generous £500 bonus per worker for every one in his union, simply for doing there fecking menial job during the olympics, a job for which they are already massively overcompensated for.

Essentially blackmailing more money by making the early noises of industrial action.

Sounds good to me.

What we need is a decent manufacturing sector, employing people to make the robots that replace the tube drivers

ran to work at 7 this morning ., even after 3 miles , legs were still cold .

This is precisely the approach we expect from the RBSE 4 man squad

I only run for the first half of my shift . I cycle for the second part , and it was very cold too at 6.30pm .

I am normally all for workers rights, but when the worker could be replaced by a suitably weighted bag of sand I do think its pretty disgusting to hold a city to ransom over yet another money grab.

Hmmm... very unusual to receive such an attack from a person I don't think I've crossed paths with before. If we have crossed paths in the past and I caused you offence then my sincere apologies.

With the greatest of respect Sir, a lot of (incorrect) assumptions are being made above; mainly about what I do for a living, which organisation I am employed by and my personal opinions relating to Bob Crow the RMT.

Regardless of you despising me for the job you think I do, next time you're in London lets go for a spin on the bikes.... I'd like you to get to know me; hopefully you'd conclude that my existence is worth more than a bag of sand and that my family are worthy enough to receive food and shelter, and you might find out that I wouldn't think twice about doing whatever I could to help a fellow human.

If of course none of the above is directed at me then I've clearly got the wrong end of the stick..... let's go out for a ride anyway

Having met chiswick he certainly is a gent of the best 8)

If unions behaved like banks, Bob Crow would be headhunted 2 or 3 times a month, and be paid several million each year in bonuses.
