The sun is shining, its warm......

......and I'm stuck in my office with a mountain of paperwork and a big meeting planned for late afternoon.

Oh, how I'd much rather be riding

Why do the days drag when the weather is fine?

And sod's law says it'll cloud over and be pants by the time I get home.

Oh, to be self employed and be able to say "bugga it, I'll deal with it later, I'm off into the hills"!

Could be worse

Could be worse....you could be stuck on the most northenly oil rig in the north sea (BP Magnus) with absolutely no chance of riding your bike for 2 weeks at a time

One of the good things about a BMX is they fit neatly in the boot, gonna stop off for a half hour de-stress session at the trails on the way home from work 8)

I know what you mean 'pickle' I wouldn't be missed if i did bugger off early.

I work nights, So get home at 5am, sleep till 11 ish then up and about with nothing to do but tinker with the bikes. But in true Manchester tradition its peeing it down and as i dont do rain it looks like i wont be riding today

Its a hard life 8)

Question-

Who is doing all the work preparing for your big Meeting and how is my car going to get filled up later if everyody is on retro bike?

Come to think of it, who is going to get these mortgages sorted since I'm fannying about too

Remember you need to "not ride" to appreciate it when you do.

I was out for two hours at 6:30 this morning blasting through the frosty air on my rigid fixie Kona Explosif

I wish I had a camera with me as it so beautifull; the Silver Birch tree's looked purple with the frost.

My legs and hands have a dull ache which feels great.

I was still at work before 9am and will be leaving at 16:00, don't you just love working for a huge multinational which allows you to have a work-life-ballance 8)

Oh, and it's now raining so I got the best of the day

Used to Live in manc-land "and on the 7th day god created Man (chester)"and the rain was a bit of a feature, mind you live in scotland now so no change there.

Lived on the north side so loved saddleworth for a spin- oh happy days :D
