A Vauxhall Agila. The old one, not the new one.

Not fast, but cheap and carries a **lot** of stuff. And easy to get bits for; my friend who owns a garage said it's basically a Corsa.

Ive got one. Managed to get me, both lads and all our bikes inside. Used it for camping with the lads also. Thin wheels make it good in snow. Downside is motorways - the low gearing and brick shape means I keep it at 60mph. Ive had it over 90 as a test, but its feckin noisy. Oh, and get the 1.2, not 1 litre

Citroen Berlingo/Peugeot Partner. Deeply uncool but epically practical. Fold the rear seats and bikes stand up in the back :)

I was looking at the bright yellow Suzuki wagon R, 74 bhp isnt too bad.
same body & trim as agila, but with 1.3 suzuki mechanicals i think. The suzuki name may up the insurance a bit (??) and parkers reckon the vauxhall badge keeps the prices a bit higher.

ironically, the Suzukis are more expensive on autotrader.

dont think I could do the Vauxhall badge thing again unless it was a chevette or Cavalier/Manta hatch
