This section of the canal is virtually deserted, its very near the end so it's a nice fast run most of the time with no traffic.

Had a 2nd stage interview with another company today that went really well, they seem very keen on me, trouble is it's the total opposite commuting wise to the other, 40miles each way and through some of the busiest motorways in Manchester but i'm very keen on the job, much more hands on than the other, with opportunities for products development, testing and its a huge international company.

It's all coming at once though after so long searching, had an answer phone msg about another position while at this interview all good news!

Found out today that I didn't get that job round the corner.
He said they had hundreds of applications and I was second choice after the round of interviews, so some consolidation I suppose.

I d like my commute to be a bit longer , 2.5 miles is not great for training .
