Well, if you were second choice that's good. Very often, the first choice doesn't work out.

Well Chris you really are a man of wisdom. The first guy left after 2 months I was called back there last Friday to meet the top MD and was offered the job.

I've taken it, handed in my resignation with my current company after only being there 3 weeks, felt really bad doing that to them TBH

Anyway, a job with better money and prospects awaits me on the 19th

Don't think of it that way , think of the guy who is also getting a 2nd chance offer .

Cheers Perry, that cheers me up a bit, and now i'm thinking of making an intro spreadsheet for the next starter as I found it took a couple of weeks to find where they keep certain files on the various network drives and who to contact regarding different things, in and out of house, so to collate all the info to help the next guy would help.
