I did ask how he got to that figure, but he just invited me to start a conversation about price if I wanted to buy it - which I don't, because its a seriously flawed design, and I'll only buy items i can happily sell - leaving out any consideration of the margin.

Magic moto cranks , supremes and lots of XTR. The frames alone I’ve seen sell for £3k in US so likely more here?

It's a lot of parts to sell in a dead market though

And if you want to pull punters in with the parts, you probably need to mention them even if you can't be bothered to photograph.

2k it would sell.

I usually assume the single photo luxury item is usually a scammer, (classic cars section rich with it) although eBay buyer security is reasonable.

The high end market is still booming. Prices have dropped from Covid highs but still more than they were 2010-2020.

It’s all the mid range or bad condition stuff that doesn’t sell. But things like this will sell if priced right.

At £2k I’d go buy it now. Tonight.
