I used to live a few doors down from Ian Curtis' old house on Barton Street in Macclesfield.
I was too young to have met him but I do know his daughter Natalie.

A mate of mine moved to Macclesfield a few years ago - just found Barton Street on a map and turns out it's only round the corner from his place (as well as over the road from South Park where the 'cross races are held). Will mention this nugget of music trivia to him some time!
