I wired up my first light switch today...

...and didnt blow the house up.

Just had the wooden part of the mancave rebuilt in brick and wired in the lightswitch, all protected by a fuse an circuit breakers off the main box.

I get pizza tonight!

Done a few of them and still have that heart-stopping moment as the switch is flicked.. totally expecting something bad to happen

have you used a 2 way single pole incase of inputting some strappers to attach another switch elsewhere........or is it a 1 way single pole...hope ya used 1.5 mm twin and earth...is it in yt2 trunking or are you using singles (multistrand iee reg 19th edition standard ) in plastic conduit.ya could do swa on tray but thats a bit overkill.....
