Ok, which complete b***ard invented stuck bottom brackets. I'm going to go around to his house and smash his face in with a half brick.

Who's coming along.

No such thing as a stuck BB. Just not enough leverage …..

Oooohhh and here he comes, Mr I know all about all of the things and I have all of the answers to all of the things that you don't know ;-)

Also, noted, just having a chat with a friend about some scaffold pipe ;-)

:)

Haha I’m a stuck BB expert now as I get so many

You need a Vice , a skewer , BB tool with Hex edges (bigger the better).

Put the tool in place held by a skewer (or a threaded bar) and then place the tool in the vice. Turn the frame. Works all the time ,, mostly.

If we go around to the basement of the inventor of stuck seaposts after I'm in

If the BB is really seized you can always Flintstone it. Cranks are a luxury, not a necessity.

Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world.
Archimedes.

*also applies to bottom brackets
**something else may break first.

Ooohh hhi know all the tips and tricks...it just annoys the hell out of me hehe

Why can't everyone just put a bit of copper slip on the threads like I do GGGRRR

I have an IceToolz spanner which permanantly has a tight fitting seatpost over the end for more leverage. You dont need a scaffold pipe- hasnt failed me yet!
