I think this now classes as retro - Spincycle

I thought that I would post this as I designed it in 1996, started building it in 1997 and finished it in 1998. So it sort of comes under this section.
It was all aluminium and titanium, a bearing and axleless front hub and other little bits of design stupidity.
Unfortunately i had to design a weak point into it (I can only say my tutors made me, so it could be tested to destruction) hence the snapped arms down to the BB shell.
I've also included one of the concept sketches as i think its particularly nice.

Who knows, maybe one day i will get around to repairing it. But I think it will have to be either fully rigid or a soft tail.

Phew! Dont do that again! Warn me next time!

I'm in Holbeach quite a bit, I want to see it in the flesh (does it need feeding often?).

Hi LGF

I'm sure we can arrange something, she stables well with the horses next door and only requires a little hay.

That design predates Girvin by some multiple decades

LGF ....my hero & lawyer.

aardvark, my fork was internally suspended, but you arent far of with influence. I did love the design of the vector.

The over influences were MX graphics of the times and i was always a Pace fan boy.
