I went to Leeds on the Friday, Gaslight Anthem were good but for me it was all about the Libs.

Had an awesome day although it did remind me why I dont do many UK fests any more, the temperature fluctuation was pretty extreme from sunny daytime to clear night sky. (Benicassim in spain has been my usual haunt for the past few years.)

The £80 day ticket was excellent value in my eyes just to see the Libertines play.

I did the weekend think. highlights were gaslight anthem (although missed at least half the set)_ and smuggling beer into the main arena and giving it to stunned strangers!

just remembered another highlight. my mate snogging a guy she has fancied for about 3 years. was a beautiful sight. really happy for her.

sadly she was so drunk she has absolutely no recollection of the event and is gutted!

Took my girlfriend to her first ever festival the other week. It was V at Chelmsford and we had a blinding time!
Went with another couple, who stayed in a hotel both nights, while we camped (well, it was her first festival and didn't want her getting ideas that its easy  ).
Pissed down Sunday night and new tent leaked. Spent night in soaking bed, had to leave pretty much everything there as my trolley was useless in 6" of mud but checked into an amazing Spa hotel on the way home to make up for the mud 8)
Kasabian in the rain on Sunday was one of the best festival moments I've ever had. They pissed all over Kings of Leon.
My girlfriend also pulled off the best drugs deal I've ever known on her one trip to the bogs on her own! Legend :D

Glasto tickets on sale in a month
