IT says
ALLOY and probably Z.4 underneath in a 'diamond' as we decided these where 1999 Alloy Z4's way back when. You'll see the style in the manual.
Though the other side may have said BAM or some other technology, or Z.4 again. Who knows.

dyna-ti iirc has that years catalogue an should be able to take a pic if there is a better view

Yes indeed
Agree with everything above :D
Z4 it is ,1999 it is
Though it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the Z1,Z2's, it is still a very good fork and is i suppose better than the models above it,in that theres a lot less internals to go wrong,no damping cartridges or the like.
BITD this wasn't a problem but nowadays these spares are nearly impossible to find new and have to be stripped from other forks with different problems to keep things running.

My Brother in law still has my red bike,im determined to get it off him this week. When i do i'll get a good pic of the decals[which are mint]

Thanks Andy that be great that is the only part the guy needs to complete the decals for me then i can get them on the sex one 8) 8)

rojo, If you cannot wait the Z.4 and ALLOY logo are in large pictures in teh z.4 1999 manual that you get of Marzocchi website, better then a photo as it's flat.
The Bomber and M logo is there as well, but that is a standard part and you may be able to get the decal from Windwave.
Code would probably be (fora blue one)
547293 (LH) and 547292 (RH)
They may even have the ALLOY Z.4 sticker, I know my Superfly (1999) code is 547304 if ever I need it.

Thanks once again mr fluff great help.

Thanks max over to you
