There are a good few freaky big people on this site, most manufacturers made gates to cater for these mutant giants.

Might make more sense to decide what kind of bike, frame, material, brand etc you prefer, then go from there

What type of mountain bike you plan to build? Rigid, FS, full suspension, 29 er ....?
Any preference for fame material?

Define lightweight in kg - this will depend on the type of bike e.g. rigid bike will be lighter then full suspension.

Define lightweight in kg - this will depend on the type of bike e.g. rigid bike will be lighter then full suspension.

I would prefer a front suspension bike, not sure about frame material but the budget would be between £350-500

No particular brand

if it's for heavy off road I'd suggest a minimum of an 18 frame, if it's more road and occasional dirty fun then be looking at 19-20 frame

beyond that there is a tonne out there to choose from
