I miss the dog

that sucks but if you have a dog shape hole in your life theres lots of other dogs out there looking good homes

After 3 years she's not his dog - she's yours- and he's not her master - you are!
I bet she's feeling it as much as you.
He sounds like a right knobend.

thanks for the comments guys,

the thing is she sees him often enough that she still considers him number 1

dogs are great though.

we never wanted a dog originally, as a family we have never really had pets at all but when he got engaged a few years ago his bint wanted a dog but she was gonna be training to be a copper so they got the dog but she went to work with my brother everyday, then when they split up and my brother moved back home we had the dog, now he's married again and now has 2 kids but couldn't cope with the dog so we took her in as by this time we were used to having her quite often.

every time he works he can't cope with the dog on top of the other stuff so we have had her for ages, when he has been out of work he takes her back, which has been quite often as he has been made redundant twice but has also quit 2 perfectly good jobs.

personally i don't think it's fair to the dog, overall we know she prefers staying with us as she's getting on a bit now and doesn't enjoy the noise of the kids at his place, but she is loyal to him first.

usually everytime i come at 530am from a night shift she is thumping her tail on the sofa where she was sleeping cos she's heard the van pull up on the drive, she is a cool dog.

i'm sorry but if you have a job in this day and age you don't quit it until you find something else that pays the bills, especially when you have no savings and a wife and 2 kids to support.

idiot.

My friend phoned me at 6pm yesterday and told me the same thing. Boss is an idiot and he quit. Called me back at 6:30 and told me he had another job. Who the hell get's a job in 30 minutes at 6pm?

the other downside is that because he is currently at home he has taken the dog back, and i miss her, always there when i walk in tail wagging and expecting a good pat, she's a proper dog that chases sticks and everything not the annoying lap dog type

:(

I hear ya. I miss Sara. Wasn't much for chasing sticks. Rabbits and mountain bikes though......

i hear you FMJ regarding 30mins to get a job but my bro is enough of a knob that the last 3 jobs he has got he my parents have found them, sent in his CV (resumé i believe you call it) and dropped him off if he gets an interview, pathetic for someone who is 38 years old . . . and a dad. he averages about 6 months before my parents start forcing the issue of job searching rather than just politely hinting.

i have got all my own jobs since asking at the local newspaper shop for a paper round at 13, by 16 i had a Proflex with mag 20's and full m900 xtr paid for myself. i just don't get his idiot attitude.

back to the dog though, she loves having her ears tickled!
