simply put, my brother is a bit of a knob, we have been looking after his dog for about 3 years now, but a couple of weeks ago he quit his job because his boss 'got on his tits' i'm sorry but if you have a job in this day and age you don't quit it until you find something else that pays the bills, especially when you have no savings and a wife and 2 kids to support.

idiot.

the other downside is that because he is currently at home he has taken the dog back, and i miss her, always there when i walk in tail wagging and expecting a good pat, she's a proper dog that chases sticks and everything not the annoying lap dog type

:(

I feel for you Jon

I have never been a dog owner/lover and we inherited my sisters king Charles spaniel about 3 months ago ...He is called Stan and is a proper friend of mine now, I would be gutted too if he went home :D

bummer...

We forget how bloody good dogs are, they never hold a grudge, and truly over enthuse about companionship

I'll loan you ours if you want, he's proper bonkers.. and NEVER EVER runs out of energy...

I'm sure if he doesn't get a job soon the cost of dog food etc may be a weapon in your arsenal to get him/her back,

mans best friends.
