I just don't understand

One you've properly crashed ie hospitalised yourself then you are likely not to do stuff that stoopid although the really good keep coming back

I have this aquaintance who rides XC like a nutter, chasing full sus guys around Glentress on his hardtail. At first I thought it was years of experience until I learned he's comparatively new to off roading. Thus I realise he has just been lucky, he's not had the crash that changes it all, he's not done the over the bars flat out oh thats really going to hurt moment :?

I hope he doesn't have that moment, I've had several and as a result I cannot just throw myself at the trail. I'm always aware i'm holding something back but a seriously busted collarbone can do that to a guy

The yoof of today are amazing when they ride as they do, I hope they have many pain free years, I really do
