I mainly ride dj/street etc now ...

What the hell is that?

DJ = dirt jump as in BMX style on an MTB

Street = riding round streets/towns looking for obsticles to jump off/onto, riding up and down stairs etc

i get a right rollocking from she who must be obeyed for spending too much time on here! dont 100% agree with the expensive side of things...my saracen only owes me about £60! try buying a bike from a shop with carbon handle bars for £60 that you can commute 10 miles a day for 4 months on and not have to do any maintenance! also i bet a retro BOTM doesn't cost as much as a current top of the range model! £4000 for a carbon fibre hardtail? pure craziness.

Retro doesnt have to be expensive!

Half the fun on here is sourcing the bit you want, and then haggling the price My Tempest frame/forks/headset/BB cost me £40 on here

Its all about using the For Sale and Wanted forums to your advantage

Thanks, about the site, a mate redisigned that page with my old text, The site/forum is all about somewhere else to go, where anything goes, so if you if you think that Golf is literally "wrong" then sorry not the place for you sadly, somethings are so wrong they are right, or so wrong they just need looking at and discussing, but FWIW, I quite like that for a modern personally specially something as common and bland as a...
