I have to say this so please read.

Yep it's great, like you Mazdaman i'm a member of a few car forums (classic Fords, i have a 78 3.0S Capri) but this is the main forum i visit now, still amazed at the number of members, the amount of traffic and the community spirit 8)

Joined up in 2005, but various things kept me away for a couple of years.

Came back and its even better than I remembered,so nice to find genuine, helpful and friendly people without all the internet heroes that ruin so many forums.

It ain't cheap though is it :)

.

You guys...

Remember to get out and give back when you're ready... lot's of Retrobike rideouts, events and races being planned for 2009!

this IS, without doubt, 1 of the most chilled forums out there, regardless of bikes!.
some of the bitchyness kickin off on mtbr.com many forums time to time is downright disturbing :(

I think the vibe of this site mirrors the vibe of mountain biking BITD, chilled and accepting of all... I don't use any other forums but I mainly ride dj/street etc now and it's all quite 'cliquey' and stuff, esp as a 28y/o 'old git'...

What the hell is that?

Agree with all above comments. I'm not a big time user of this forum, my bike collection is not flashy, rare or expensive but the members I have associated with and got to meet in the flesh have all been very friendly and helpful. It's good to belong :D
