Well...I am in two minds...Do I get down with the kids and slam the seat, brakeless and micro gearing...
Or do I restore to how it looked originally..or do i just build it up with cheap bits and keep it as a basher (the flights are coming off regardless)

yup will cost you £130 to re chrome to start with. cost me £65 to strip the old chrome and £35 to powder coat. few of the old components used, new wheels. This frame fits me though... nice size.

while i've been off I have broken down the wheels as the spokes were all rotten. front hub runs lovely but the rear was a mess. cleaned it up and just need to get some grease to put fresh in. They both have come up a treat though:

maybe as you say an idea to just put it back as it was...wouldnt cost me too much either to get it rolling that way.
