How old is my Marin Bear Valley ?

I bought a Marin Bear Valley off ebay some time ago and the owner/seller advertised it as a 1991

Now though I don't use it so I listed it in ctc giving the deatils I had been given but the age has now been questioned

how do you tell what year your bike was made

the frame number on mine is C47AAD026 9704FE a picture may help also but my last attempt wasn't sucessfull so this might help with decals etc

im 99% sure thats a 1998 model. It was available in matt black or blue that year. Came with mostly stx-rc and irc skinwall mythos tyres.

It's more of a matt grey and yes it has all the sts kit

the tyres though..and I can't remember as I'm typing at work :roll: are called something like aligatorsz????raptors something along those lines
