How obscure ? GT tandem decals

That'll be an understatement. I hope GM can pop along to shed some light on these. I've haven't ever seen a picture of the '93 Quatrefoil LX - I can remember seeing a green 'regular' Quatrefoil in a shop BITD, but never the red LX version. Wonder if they're out there, it'd be a cool bike to own!

Yes GT had tandems in the 1993 model year but they were uncataloged. The 93 Quatrefoil was a Shimano Altus A10 equipped bike with Sugino cranks and the 93 Quatrefoil LX was Shimano LX equipped. 93 was the one year that GT made a 26" mountain tandem. The 91 and 92's had the 700D wheels. They didn't bring in as many in 1993 maybe a container or two so they are a tad more rare. The Quatrefoil LX's decals would have been clear coated originally. So even if you did have one of these bikes you'd be sanding out old decals to put on new ones and then re-clearing. Major pain.
