Tempted to do it , but will have to wait a while .

Good news! I rode it once before finding the damage and it rode like a road bike with big tyres.

I have one unfinished project that I am accumulating parts for and thats the Potts that I exchanged it for!

Where's the 10+ category?

In no particular order:

1) Pace RC200
2) Pace RC200
3) GT Psyclone
4) GT Psyclone
5) GT Psyclone
6) GT Bravado LE
7) GT Xizang
8 ) Mongoose Amp
9) Trek 9200
10) Voodoo D-Jab
11) Fuquay
12) Fuquay
13) Univega Carbon
14) Saracen Kili XTR

And various other not really worthy of a mention. I need help.......

I come to 2 and a half, sort of, not very retro though:

1) My Klein Quantum road racer, waiting to be built
2) A project: Elsworth Dare (1st gen classic triangle frame)
1/2) My Sinister Ridge is without a drivetrain, going SS on it

Legrandfromage, I think I saw my future ...........,
but now I know can I change it?

Enjoy!!

I like this poll!!!

GT RTS1
Alpinestars Cro-Mega
Kona Cinder Cone
Roberts White Spider
Specialized Stumpjumper Comp '92
DMR Trail Star (Still needs brakes)

That makes 6.... Might be done by oh i dunno, 2010!!!

Can we include cars in this poll??

3 in bits, one a rolling project (a 19-year rolling project so far).

I have two rules:

1. 4 bikes max (heard that before somewhere .....)
2. Each project has to have a distinct purpose:

Stumpie: Mountain Bike
Fuji: shopping bike
Claud: road bike that can go up hills
Hobbs: polo bike [suspect early mid life crisis is setting in]

but the real issue is:

Just need to find some time and tranquility to do it right Wink

Kona.
Kona.
Fisher.
Cottingham Lo-Pro.
And a Saracen frame (somewhere...?)

Almost mirrored by the "complete" bikes:
Kona.
Kona.
Kona.
Fisher.
R&M.

explosif, nearly finished just need to shorten the maguras.
cr16 just needs cables.
saracen frame not sure weather to ss it or not. mate wants it for a pub bike
mairn bobcat trail found in friends backgarden
98 cinder cone just frame and p2s
another cindercone lent to a friend in the hope that he realises the error of his ways and stops driving to work

i tend to build just one rider, and ride it for everthing, all the nice bits get used on that frame and the other frames get the hand downs. at the moment my 94 cindercone is top of the pile soon to be replaced by the explosif, orthough after decovering this site my plan has gone to pot and i have more riders than expected ive also become emotionally attached to the contence of my shed.

Frames awaiting inspiration/parts: ProFlex; Mantis; RM; Nishiki; Saracen; Spesh; RTS; Haro Ti; Ibis; Jamis... I think it's because frames are easy to come by (if you have an open mind to collecting) and seem to represent the best value - it's the cost of the amalgamated parts and the time it takes to collect them that puts the sticks in the spokes. I've depressed myself through doing this audit, mind...

Mr K

sell all the frames beside the ibis & mantis & you'll easily have enough to build the ibis & mantis up ;)
