How long do you wait before contacting ebay about a seller?

I've been waiting since the 8th for an item, one contact from seller saying 'it'll be here soon' about a week ago. Low feedback and is not responding to my admittedly one 'wheres my item' mail. Do I bombard him daily or softly softly :? Hard to know how people will react.

If you leave negative feedback can you then change it if the situation improves?

I bought a hope headset which was sent without a crown race - and the guy hasn't replied to my message asking about it - having given him a week.

I'd follow it up with another email beginning with a gentle threat like "I don't want to open a dispute with ebay but...."

Well I've opened a dispute problem is I'd still like the item. I noticed the seller had a few other things for sale and feedback has't been left for that either.

what was the dispatch time in his auction ?

I put a dispatch time of 5 days as sometimes cant get to the po untill sat morning .

Thought I'd follow this one up, still no contact with the seller and started a dispute through ebay, they have now refunded the total amount. Worked out OK but I really wanted the item.

He probably realised sold too cheap or sold elsewhere. At least you did not get excuse that it was stolen after auction finished.
