Enlighten me - what do BT charge for 100Mb/s?
Did you have to pay extra for Fibre To The Premises or is MK a trial area?
Rumour is it'll be between £500 to £1000 installation fee when FTTP goes on general release! :shock:

How fast, far less than I am paying for, but it is the phone lines they say, myself being right at the end of the lines and in peak demand I lose out.

Doesn't matter anyway the sodding macbook pro keeps losing it's connection and crashing.

20.36 download and 1.92 upload seems to work for me although the other night when I couldn't sleep I noticed it drops at night time in the wee hours

In the u.k. isn't 02 doing internet deals and they seem to be faster than others for installing optic internet?

i phoned them up for the 40 meg and they said it was free installation but then he typed some stuff in and said they could do fibre to the house for free, keep it at 40 meg with the option of 100 meg if i wanted it. 40 meg is 25 quid and 100 is 35. but then add the line rental so 100 meg would cost me £50 quid a month and thats something i dont need. they supplied the shiny black hub for free but what they dont show on the advert is the bloody great monstrosity they bolt to the living room wall to connect the shiny black hub to. :evil:

I'm sick of my shit old expensive slow non LLU exchange. It's crap slow, so much so even YouTube videos don't play properly.

This is as good as it gets, even the 3G reception is shite. I'm a part of the 15% of the UK that will be left behind. It'll be another 5 years before I hit 5Mbps while the rest of country will be on 100+
It's not as though I live in the sticks either.
