How do I get an 8 speed Campag wheel to work with Shimano ?

The float in the Shimano top jockey covers a multitude of sins.

Still don't understand how you got away with it, LGF. Campag 8 has 3.5mm cable pull per click according to the CTC site, whereas Shimano 7 is 2.90.

It was used by Pickle as his time-trial bike in that configuration too.

I'll have to give it a go as I'm in exactly that dilemma at present.

if the pitch is just smaller just get thinner spacers and shim them out to the right stack... or if you have access to a surface grinder, just grind the originals. Alternatively I think Marchisio used to do conversions... not sure if they are still around... did it with 9 speed at the time (9 speed shimano gears on a campaign spline)
