Hope QR lever change

I have a set of Hope wheel QR's where the rear is scratched and the front perfect. Now my new build has a Maverick through axle (Maverick) so only the rear will be used. I wish I could swap them over

Has anyone tried to undo the QR axle from the brass insert in the lever? It appears to be just threaded in.

They be loctited in with a bit of heat you should be able to get it off.

Thanks, Loctite figures as they do feel very solid when I try gently. So far I could not get enough grip on the axle and it didnt budge'. I wonder if it would it work to fit two nuts on the other (threaded) end counter-rotated?

Just do it with a pair of pliers firmly clamped on the axle and then twist the lever off anti clockwise. Done it on a set of Hopes the other day (converting a set of Cooks seat QRs into wheel QRs)-worked a treat. Remember to loctite back in again though!
