Home inventor 'fag packet' ideas

One night at a rave, I invented a time machine on the back of a fag packet once..... having come down the next day, I realised i'd smoked the fags and thrown the packet away

Why would you want a plastic magnet ???

Why would someone want a Susan Boyle album for Christmas?

If you can do it, so can I!!

The bottom clamp part of my seatpost idea would come in various sizes for tube diameters, the top part is all the same.

Seatposts with integrated bottom part are available.

Or, the clamp design could accomodate differing diameters, but why complicate things.

It may not take long to whip off a saddle, but it'd take longer than this, require tools and need levelling.

Got a mate with massive feet? Ride during the cold slushy weather?

Have a pair of his old wellies, saw the toes off them just infront of the boot, drive 2 screws through the reflector holes of the pedal into the tread of the welly toes, keeping the insole level with the pedal platform.

Retro toe clips, waterproof and warm just where the water sprays.

If the wellies had frog eyes 2x LEDs make for bling appeal.

What about an expanding seatpost that would fit any seat tube without a shim. It'd be a real boon on here

That would be relatively simple to achieve also.

I like the idea of carrying tools within the bike by design, as I like the idea of using part of the frame as a pump.

Thing is my tool is barely more than three inches, and light as a feather.

It does most of the jobs I need it for, and I carry it around in my trousers so it is always there when I need it.

My idea was a little hatch door at the top of the main door on your washing machine. It could still be opened whilst the machine is on it's initial fill cycle and would be for those moments when you load the machine, set it going, then turn around and see a single sock on the floor. I call it the Second Chance Sock Hatch

Good thread this, it could be used to prove prior art if anyone steals our ideas and makes millions
