Hollowtech crank removal

Attempted to remove this crank because the axle is hollow when I screw the tool in its not pushing against anything

If you already have the Park crank remover you can go to the Park website and buy just the Octalink end piece for a couple of bucks instead of having to buy a whole nother remover. That is what I did. You can actually buy pretty much any tool or parts for tools from the Park website individually.
 
i tried the 5p trick an its bent the coin an pushed it inside the axle
i going to try a different way using a steel plate bolted through the crank extractor an a bearing puller
 
I made a 'tool' years ago which was basically a spare bolt with a length of threaded rod hammered into it, screwed on from the opposite side so the rod was flush with the end of the spindle/axle for my tool to push against.

The 'tool' being the green part.
