Perfect platform for all the worst bike parts ever created. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TREK-9000-Vintage ... dZViewItem

Scott unicrown fork.
Browning electric front crank.
Nuke Proof hubs.
The X-lite post that used to allways break.
Onza pedals.
Ritchey saddle (ouch).
Flex stem(?).
What bar used to break (again X-lite/Fred Salmon?).
Tires? Farmer John's Cousins inbreds?

hahaha you guys crack me up!!

i am the owner of this lovely beast..... and yes it has had some flak in the past..... and i will willingly take it from someone that has owned one.... no names mentioned!!

i'm not gunna sit here and say its the perfect bike, cos it aint. but this was one of the first full sus bikes to hit the market so it wasnt likely to be spot on was it!!

having said that i rode this bike for 13 years and loved it.... even did some DH runs in the Alps!! and i could just as easily take it out for 30 mile treks.... what else do you need????

end of the day its a bit of a classic now so how good it may or may not be is irrelevant.....

there you go, said my bit.... so by all means carry on!
