Here goes.... new job application!

Was half expecting you to say you got it at the end.. Gutted that you didn't though. I can see how much it would have meant to you working in the industry you have so much passion for.
Getting that close was an achievement you can carry forward, so hopefully that together with any feedback will reassure you of you're strengths and push you towards the next thing you can start aiming for, whatever it is. It's not over yet..

from one 35yo to another.. Good luck mate!

Just wondering, for those that work in media. How common are face-to-face feedback meetings with the interviewer? I've never heard of this happening before.

Too bad, was reading through page 1 & 2 hoping you'd get it.

I write music for film and TV, I wrote the score for Road to Roubaix. Not sure if any of you guys have seen it. Also worked on an Obama campaign commercial and a few other things.

I've had no luck getting my foot in the door anywhere in London. Seems like everyone involved in music for TV and film has spend ages working for free for silly hours just to be allowed to setup a mic.

Lee, if you could help a fellow biker out with some useful contacts let me know ;-)

Feedback went really well but can't divulge as too many 'trade secrets' in it all. Although I didn't get the role I've been invited to meet the 4Music team next week for a bit of chit chat.... the feedback really lifted my spirits up, certainly didn't do as badly on the assessment day as I thought I did. Will see what happens next week.
