Helyett speciale

Here's a Helyett Speciale I just picked up. Simplex juy rear mech simplex shifters, Mavic rims, mafac brakes. I think this is a complete but dirty and a bit rusty but solid original. As you can see I have given some of it a bit of a clean and I think it will make a great original bike with plenty of patina. From what I can gather this is the signature bike of Jaques Anquetil and was made up till 1962. At the moment I am unsure as to whether to push forward and keep fixing it up or whether to move on to the next project. Your thoughts are welcome

Is that a simplex 543, the type that sometimes fetches stupid money?
Quite a decent bike in its day.

Clean it and ride it for a while then decide if you want to move it on, nice looking bike by the way ...living that green
