Help with old MTB chainset?

Retro Newbie
Hi, I'm not that familiar with retro bikes but I'm looking to replace a chainset on my sons old MTB but can't find anything on the web. It appears to be a 1990's Shimano 5 bolt 74mm BCD triple set made of steel and the chainrings are fixed together. If there are no replacements available could anyone recommend a replacement crankset to fit. The bike is a Marin but no idea what vintage.

Thanks

Greg

It looks in perfectly good condition - what is often mistaken for wear are teeth designed to aid shifting.

A replacement could be https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SHIMANO-Acer ... Sw1NxfJskz

You may have to change the bottom bracket but I dont think you need to unless it 'wobbles' - it should be the right length
