......although he would have needed a left hand lamp bracket as well!

Like this one?

Must be a rare item.

Re:

Thank you gents for the comments, and I think we are getting close, BUT my cycle does not have a curved rear brake bridge, where these other machines appear to have?

My cycle does not have any holes for a metal head badge to be attached, either...........

When I stripped the paint away, there were no filled holes, so must have only been a decal?

Thoughts please!!!!! :)

Not all Torino's had a curved rear brake bridge........here's some CB literature, have a look at the last paragraph.

It might have gone out of the workshop without drillings for a head badge and with 2 front light bosses :)

My Falcon San Remo Equipe was spirited out of Falcon before it was finally finished. Lots went on BITD :D

This is very interesting....................how would the frame number fit into this equation? I have looked at Sheldon Browns site, CB and others and am having difficulty working out the date.

If the bike is a CB Torino, could the lamp bosses have been ordered extra, or was the Torino purely an off the peg machine?
Still unsure how an older machine (i.e. lamp bosses) should have a decal headbadge rather than a rivetted on device................
