Help wanted getting a bike from Austria

Seeking help with a MTB purchase in Austria, 30 km West of Innsbruck.

Willing to pay for entire bike and let you keep everything except frame and seatpost.

Naturally I'll pay for all shipping/petrol costs, and am happy to return all favors.

Even shipping a small parcel from Au or Nz to UK is insanely expensive!

I'm in USA, so I'm guessing it's even more expensive than shipping from Austria to UK.
It's in Austria's "panhandle", and looks to be about 15 km from Southern Germany and 60 km from Northern Italy, so perhaps someone is passing by Innsbruck on the way to either Germany or Italy and can ship from either of those locations?
I'll have to find out how insane the cost is to see if it's worth it, but if anyone has any more info I'd certainly appreciate it.
It's just frame-only (and seatpost), so it's definitely a smaller shipment than an entire MTB.

Eu to USA is certainly a lot more doable than Au to UK.

To give you a rough idea of costs.. it’s around $180 to ship a frame from USA to Eu

I am from Austria, but live arround 500 km far away from Innsbruck. I have relatives there which we are going to visit next time this year in September. When it is not so urgent for you and for the seller - I could help. Shipping of frame can be difficult, especially to the US and can cost you an arm and leg. Just out of interest; what frame it is ?

As you said, maybe a member from Tyrol, Sout Tyrol or Bavaria might be better suited for help.

I've bought and sold many a bike frame on this site to and from many different places; UK, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Poland......................<if we've done business and I've left you off this list, feel free to chime in>.

I know about Australia's outrageous fees. Another one is Wales. Both charge triple of what every other country charges. Not sure why, and I don't think I even want to know for fear that my inquiry might stir up a fuss.

TBH and with all due respect - not just to you, but to the entire RB community - the reason I prefered to use DMs is that I quite jealously didn't want to out this sale to the whole world for fear that someone else would buy it before I had a chance. I think you all understand. How would it sound if I outed a bike on the MTB EBAY & MARKETPLACE WATCH forum and said "OK, nobody bid on this so I can get it cheap". I doubt that cooperation like that is possible. That said, I expect some of you are going to search for postings from Austria to try to beat me to the punch and terminate the sale. I don't blame you. I would.
