Master Piu Decor with that livery came out in 1992. I know this for certain because I saw one at a bike show that year and had to have it. I bought mine from Ricci Ltd. (58cm) and raced on it in '93 and '94.

The paint and crome was in bad shape... so decided to give it a pearl white and see how it looked.

Decor paint seemed Ok in the pics above. White paint looks fine but pity to cover over the chrome lugs and the original paintjob. I think a master deserves a quality paint job. Just my humble opinion of course.

I think that you are right in regards to not covering the crome. The problem is that it should have been re-cromed if it should have looked any good. The old cromed lugs had started to rust as had the chainstays etc... Maby I should have just keept it in the original "used" condition...
