Hi,
I need some help to date my Colnago mater. I think it is a around 85'es frame. And it might be a little later (DA series might be original to the frame)... It is repainted. It has the open box. Where should I especially look/take pictures in order to give you gues (the experts ;-) ) a clue... Here is some pics. Help is very much needed. Thanks in advance!

Slightly updated with DA seatpost, X/A Cinelli stem + cinelli bars + moden rubbers - along side my wifes ride.

Probably around -88 and it´s not Master.

It is MasterPiu

Nice bike you have! :D

Thanks for the nice words! I like it a lot myself... I have the perfect position on it. And it just gives more smiles for the miles than the newer ones!

Know its a Master Piu... (just forgot to put it in). Could it be possible to say anything about the age from the (nicely) curved fork? have read that they appeared in 1987. Can anyone say if the straight forks came togeather with the cromed seatstays as e.g. this one got:

to know the year is the chassis number located on the rear dropout

Thanks! Will have a look. Traditinally "thinking" from my side just let me to the clonclusion that a number should be located on the BB...

No numbers on the drop outs.... So I must stay in the dark about specific age.

BTW: Where did you get the impressive picture of the Porsche 911 Carrera RS Martini that is used as derny-pace for the rider with the HUGE chainring? Could you tell a little more about it. How is the rider? How build the body work on the porsche. And Can I copy the picture... would like it for my desktop (I myself is both bike and race car interested)...
