HELP needed with windows

My wife's window laptop has had a new HD fitted but now it keeps asking for the MS word product key. We've been told that the reinstall from Toshiba wouldn't ask again. But it is :x Any one help please

what version of word is it? if you google it, 9im sure you will find one

what help is it that you nedd specifically? provided your copy of word is legal then you should have a serial/product key which you can just re-enter, you wouldve got this key when you pur-chased ms office/word

If you have a legit copy I wouldn't go googeling and entering a dodgy key.

Have a look at the documentation that came with the laptop, might be in there, otherwise you'll need to contact toshiba.

Oh it's 100% MS version of word on a year an half vista laptop. But it keeps asking for the number. Looks like anther expensive call to Toshiba :x with me doing the talking. I wish she would buy a Mac next time

if you bought it seperate i.e. after the purchase of the laptop then you should have the code otherwise they should provide you with one

My wife has a one year old Toshiba which had Word loaded, but only for a limited period, after which payment for the license was demanded. Downloaded OpenOffice which works a treat.
